Who We Are

Founded in 1984, SDS Tug & Barge developed as a logical extension of the SDS Lumber brand. Gone are the days when SDS hired outside contractors to haul its chips down river to pulp mills. Today, the SDS Tug & Barge fleet meets the needs of both SDS Lumber and many of the timber companies in the area. They rely on SDS Tug & Barge in order to benefit from the economic and environmental advantages of towing or barging products as compared to truck hauling.
